Laura + John=Engaged! || Vancouver Wedding Photographers

We met up with Laura and John last week in Queen Elizabeth Park for their engagement photos. The weather was well, windy! But as we kept saying, “at least it’s not raining!” When I first met Laura we soon realized that her, Jen and I went to the same high school. I designed Laura and John’s invitations with a bit of an Alice in Wonderland theme {her mom didn’t want us to go crazy with the idea!} So Jen and I wanted to create a bit of Wonderland for their photo shoot. And we got to eat some really yummy cupcakes!

They are getting married in mid June at the Holy Rosary Cathedral and we can’t wait to photograph them again!

John and Laura said they didn’t know how to pose! But joking around in each others photos we know they watch Top Model!

Why are they laughing? Jen is showing off her magnificent posing skillz.

Laura we’re sorry for getting your awesome shoes muddy walking all over the park! We loved how you worked them in the photos!

Beautiful Guest Signing Books! || Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Right, we love, and I mean love taking detail shots of everything at weddings. The one thing that Jen and I always question is the guest signing book. We always wonder…Do the bride and groom look at this book of signatures after the wedding? We know this is a fantastic tradition to have a record of well wishes from your guests but what good is it when you pack it away with leftover decorations?

We are soooo happy to introduce you to our fantastic new Guest Signing Albums. They are awesome! And best of all they feature your engagement photos, so you’ll have a mixture of your photos in a hardcover album and the signatures with well wishes of your wedding guests together in one book. This is a keepsake you will want to look at and feature on the coffee table for years to come!

Okay bridal peeps, sorry we have been MIA for the last week but we have a new website very close to it’s debut that has taken up a lot of our time! Not to worry Daydream is here and always will be, this is another site to show everything “else” we do. It will showcase our photography work such as our Family, Kids, Sports, Fashion and loads more. Plus the design work that caters to other small businesses or corporate companies. We’re super excited and will let everyone know when it’s live so you can check it out!

WOW we are honoured…Again!

We are so excited again to have a photo chosen for all of Canada in bride.ca’s “Favourite Engagement Photos of 2009″! Kristy and Travis braved the rowboat (and laughed at us in the paddle boat) for their engagement shoot and we received a Runners-up/Honourable Mention from the editors of bride.ca! You may remember K&T were the same couple that won us the honour of receiving “Best Wedding Photo of 2009” from bride.ca at the beginning of 2010. We think modeling agencies should be contacting them soon!! Thanks bride.ca
