Jenn + Colin = MARRIED! || Vancouver Wedding Photographers

The day started off with a lot of cloud and looking like possible showers.  The weatherman was calling for wind to come up and blow away all the clouds to reveal the sun.  Low and behold, he was right!  Almost right on cue, the sun came out just as Jenn was finishing getting ready.  The ceremony was held at The Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park.  The wind was still blowing, but the sun was shining.  The emotions of the day were showing through both Colin and Jenn before and during the ceremony.  It was absolutely breathtaking.

After the all the vows had been said, we whisked them through the park for a few photo ops and a few laughs. Then we headed to the Maritime Museum Park.  Jenn and Colin spend a lot of time here with their dogs, as they have a fantastic off leash dog beach.  Unknowing to us, this turned into the windiest part of the city {we’re talking gale force winds!}.  Everyone were such good sports and we all had a great time taking photos!

We made it back to Kirin, their reception site, to do the tea ceremony.  Jenn and Colin are Big Canucks fans and it was the first game of the second round of playoffs.  Blackberry’s were a buzz, making sure they got all the updates of the scores during the tea ceremony.  We have three favorite things that happened at this wedding. One was the families of both sides coming together.  Everyone was so happy for Jenn and Colin, so warm and inviting to new people and it was all a very loving atmosphere.  The second, Table 17! We were lucky enough to sit at the coolest table ever with the  most amazing guests at the wedding. They encouraged us to try all the food {jellyfish-check, abalone-check, check!} we laughed, we cried from the laughing and had a great time with all of you! The third, and we think trumps everything else, is the way Jenn and Colin looked at each other throughout the whole day.  With just their looks, you can truly see they both married their soul mates this day, and they both are the luckiest people on Earth.
