Amy and Jen,
Thank you soo sooo much for the great job you did on the Fierce and Foxy shoot! What a day that was, we all (including the dog, Kogee) had an absolute blast, and your guys preparedness and easy-going manner made all the difference in how the day went!! I think we all hurt later from laughing so hard! Needless to say, the calendar went over QUITE well
and now has a home on the wall, I especially love how it will be so easy to frame them after!! Since there was such a variety of shots, I will definitely be ordering more for Christmas, and I fully plan on doing another next year!!

Details at the Mascarade || Vancouver Wedding Photographers
Lisa Gregory Special Events asked us to come out last weekend to shoot some details of a fabulous wedding they had designed and were coordinating that evening. We were so giddy like kids when we saw the bold colour palette used for Justin and Cherise’s wedding. Rich reds and vibrant blues and purples were gorgeous against the garden backdrop of the Cecil Green House on the UBC grounds.

As a surprise for the bride and groom, an airplane flew overhead just before the ceremony with a banner saying “Justin & Cherise Love Forever”. Epic.

The masquerade masks for the reception were beautiful and each guest received one on their chair.

Bravo on the colour Justin and Cherise!

Of course the venue speaks for its self but with the added decor it was magical.
Mel and Mike RE-WEAR night || Vancouver Wedding Photographers

When Mike and Mel contacted us to do a RE-Wear the Dress session we couldn’t wait to get back out to their farm. The white and blue barn, big grass fields, horses…our photography minds were going into overdrive! The night was perfect and Jen gave Mel a golden smoky eye that caught the evening light beautifully. We had so much fun {which is what we believe your wedding photos should be} when we saw the loft to the barn it was a photographers dream come true, until Mel said oh there are spiders all in the bails of hay. Amy froze and there was a bit of panic!
Normally we do these sessions with just the bride, so when Mike said he would be in the photos too we thought that was so rad! There was a Harley, a tractor, horses, and dogs. It was quite the night!

Mel you are beautiful!! And we LOVE your dress.

“She thinks my tractor’s sexy…”

No brides were injured in this bucket…

Yummy light! {our fave}

Oh the fun you can have with your dress!

Just a little luggage for the honeymoon. FIERCE posing it for the end of the night.

The phrase of the day, but in the end we think you both are!
Snapshot Backdrop in the Barn || Vancouver Wedding Photographers
Mel and Mike were married on their families property and we were so excited to set up our Snapshot Backdrop in one of the horse stalls in the barn. Their wedding was full of details and the location was unique to them {so important!} and looked great in the photos.

Congrats Mel and Mike!
