Although we chose our photographer before we knew about this wonderful person, Amy designed our invitations, the table cards, and the seating plan, and not only was she professional and open to ideas, but she was our type of person. She got just what we were going for, and made it work, and her designs were beautiful, her ideas innovative and just plain cool. It goes a long way for a groom for a thing like invitations not to be boring, but engaging. To this day, designing the invitations was among the funnest parts of the wedding planning.

I couldn’t have imagined our wedding without Daydream! Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Amy did an amazing job with the invitations and definately personalized them for me and my hubby. Jen did my make-up on the wedding day and it was exactly what I wanted and still looked amazing after 12 hours of partying and dancing and photo taking. Photos…there is nothing that I can write that would describe how wonderful the photos were. Me & my hubby had a blast and laughed so much and at the reception, they managed to capture so many precious moments that I wasn’t even aware of. I’m so glad that we choose them! They are extremely talented, and work so well together (perhaps because they are sisters). My husband and I had the privilege of using Daydream Weddings as our Engagement & Wedding photographers. I have known Amy & Jen my whole life. It was a natural choice to use their services for our wedding. Travis and I have an interesting story as we had not one, but two weddings! We had 60 guests come to our wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico on 9.9.9, we also had a wedding in Vancouver August 22nd.
Prior to our Cabo wedding Amy & Jen did our engagement photo shoot. Their ideas were fab! They took us to Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. The shots complimented our “Beyond the Sea” theme. One of the photos was featured in “Real Weddings” and a few others have been featured on wedding websites. Our favourite photo is a natural shot of us in a rowboat.
We worked with Amy for months prior to the weddings. Our Cabo wedding required loads of stationary from welcome letters, table signs, bridesmaids cards, and of course the invitations. We wanted our guests to have as much information as possible as they would be celebrating with us for an entire week. We received numerous remarks about how unique & fabulous the invites were. Once the wedding day came, the guests loved the personalized signs. Travis’ fave was the “Oilers” & “Canucks” signs to directed guests to the “Bride” & “Groom” side of the ceremony. My fav was the table signs at the reception. Our theme was “Beyond the Sea” (we met, and worked for a cruise line) so each of the reception signs featured a specific place in the world that was special to us.
Our August wedding was perfect. Amy & Jen made us instantly feel comfortable. They took photos of everything & captured all the right moments. Their ideas were unique to us! Travis kept mentioning that it was quick & easy, which is nice to hear from the Groom! Our favourite photo is when we are on the hill going up to Burnaby Mountain. It is a beautiful Black & White shot that captures the moment perfectly. This photo was featured in many wedding ads.
Amy and Jen have a wonderful gift. Travis and I would say to any couples in the process of planning your wedding, choose an excellent photographer, your photos will last a lifetime. We were thrilled with all the photos from Daydream weddings and would recommend their services to anyone! Mentioning that, we did! My step-brother & sister-in-law (Scott & Laura) just got married! Their photos are AMAZING!!!

Amazing right?
Our gorgeous invitations were the first thing that Amy and I worked on…we just ‘got’ each other…she really could understand that crazy bride gibberish that us brides talk. Once we got that done…the rest just kept coming…our brains did not stop. We had so much fun working together to carry our theme right through our wedding.
Amy and her sister Jen even came to our wedding and did a backdrop photo shoot…we will have to get them to post some of those pictures on here…what a ball…this was a HUGE hit with our guests…you must ask them about it…people are still talking about how much fun it was.
If you are like us and your goal is to make sure your guests have a good time…these two sisters are your people! They are both extremely talented people…what I love about them most is that they don’t ‘only’ do invitations or don’t ‘only’ do photography…they seem to do it all

She patiently listened to our vague descriptions of what we thought we wanted and didn’t want our invitations and stationery to be, and created a selection of personalized options for us to choose from – all of which were exquisite!
She incorporated our feedback, modified designs, helped us with wording, and even researched the best and most cost-effective eco-paper in North America to help us achieve our environmental goals! Best of all, Amy gave us a truly personal experience with one-on-one cafe meetings and quick replies to our feedback.

From start to finish Jen and Amy did a fantastic job with our wedding photography. To this day my wife and I still comment on how beautiful our pictures are. Anyone who has seen our photos is so impressed with the high quality and the way the colours seem to jump off the pictures.
We met Jen and Amy a few months before to see their portfolio of past weddings. My wife and I immediately felt a great connection with them. We were looking for a photographer that had a warm personality and a great eye for detail and balance. We found all this multiplied by two in Jen and Amy.
Looking back at the wedding day the organization was impeccable. It was great to have one camera in black and white and another in colour. They knew exactly what moments to capture, whether planned or spontaneous. They have a knack for making posed pictures look relaxed and candid shots look like they were planned.
After the wedding was over, Jen and Amy made quick work of getting the photos saved onto a disc with a custom CD insert. They even put together a beautiful album of all their favorite shots in a bound photo book. And to show how great their photo-taking skills are, there were hardly any pictures that didn’t make the final cut!
Overall, Sarah and I can’t thank Jen and Amy enough for capturing our Wedding day in all its glory. Each time we look at the pictures we are instantly transported back to that wonderful day. We would not hesitate to recommend Jen and Amy for all your Photography needs!
