Laura + Scott = Married! || Vancouver Wedding Photographers

When we arrived Sunday afternoon to Laura and Scott’s place, the girls were watching one of our fave movies, Sex and the City. We knew this was going to be a great day!
Laura, an Etsy shopping pro, showed off her wedding buys. We were all in love with her custom hair fastener. The girls bouquets were jaw-dropping amazing. We knew there was only one guy that could be responsible for them, Evan from Flowerz, and we were right!
We did a “first look” which appealed to Laura and Scott. Not only did we have more than enough time to accommodate the late start to the beginning of their day, but also had time to explore Gastown and, post ceremony, they actually got time with their guests right away! They were both so cute before seeing each other and it was great being able to catch that emotion.
The ceremony and reception was at Canvas Lounge in Gastown. This location is fabulous and it suited them to a tee! When the music started we found out that Scott had put all the music together to create the best wedding soundtrack ever. Let’s just say there was lots of dancing.

Fave of the day!

Did we mention there was dancing?!

It was an amazing night for an amazing couple. Thank you Scott and Laura once again for letting us be a part of your special day.

Jenny + Tim = ENGAGED! || Vancouver Wedding Photographers
May 7, 2010 by Daydream
Jenny and I go back a long way……so long I don’t want to age ourselves on here!! I am so completely honoured that Jenny and Tim chose us to do their wedding photography! Jenny is no shy girl, but put a camera in front of her face and she gets camera shy like most people. Tim…..he is fantastic, and caring, but point a camera at him and he becomes even shyer than Jenny. Tim is the strong silent type, but once you get to know him, you can see why Jenny loves him so much! Amy and I wanted to make the engagement shoot fun for the both of them and to get them comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. Tim is big into vintage cars, so to get him into a comfortable place, we wanted to get him in some wicked cars! Lucky for us, Tim knows people with some very cool cars, and property to boot, and Tim brought one of his cars to show off.
It didn’t take long at all to get these two to bring the magic! Amy and I both knew they had it in them, but boy did they blow us away! Jenny is the master of whispering just the right thing to get Tim to smile, or crack up, and Tim is the master to get Jenny into that calm loving mood. Jenny is a Top Model veteran, and her smizing abilities are Killer! (Sorry guys, I know this is a foreign language to you!! haha Just ask your girlfriend what it means ) Props to Mother Nature for giving us our own patch of sunshine during this shoot. It was raining everywhere else in the Lower mainland!
We are so excited to be a part of your lives and look forward to your wedding and seeing you both grow old together! We love you guys so much!
