Wedding Paparazzi! || Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Author Okay when Jen and I shoot weddings we always make a joke and say, “we’re your personal paparazzi today!” When Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney from the TV Show The Bachelor recently said I do, these photos really don’t say intimate wedding ceremony!
From the random guy (who kind of looks like a scruffy Russell Crow) watching Molly walk down the isle, to the cameras, boom mike and people with press passes waiting for them after the ceremony. The photo that made me laugh was the man either holding up the tree or hiding behind it…I would love to know the story there! And of course I’m sure it’s in every one’s contract to go to these weddings Trista and Ryan (from the Bachelorette) and the host of both shows Chris Harrison chatting to…his agent maybe?!!

I do love Molly’s dress but I think the orchid and calla lilly bouquet is a bit much. What are your thoughts?

Pinks to Inspire You || Vancouver Wedding Photographers
I’ve been noticing some great colours that brides have been choosing for their invitations this year. Azalea is one of the top colours this year and I wanted to feature a great inspiration board from snippet & ink. Laura is also loving Alice in Wonderland, with that in mind the blue in this board caught my eye as Alice’s dress!
A Supernatural Wedding
Supernatural star Jared Padalecki was married on February 27th in his new bride’s Genevieve Cortese’s hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho. The locally shot television show is currently in it’s fifth season and one of my favourites! According to the CW Jared’s best man was his real-life older brother Jeffrey and one of his groomsmen was his on-screen brother Jensen Ackles.
Genevieve played Ruby on the TV show, and without me explaining all of the back story, let’s just say she was a little demonic! But on her wedding day she looked absolutely stunning. {I would say angelic but after watching the angels they deal with on the show I’ll stick with stunning!}
The photos were taken by Clif Kosterman, Jared and Jensen’s bodyguard, who shared the photos with the Supernatural fans!

Our new Proof Albums have arrived!
OMG! We luv our new books! A gigantic box was delivered the other day and we were like kids on Christmas day ripping the tape off and diving in pulling out oh 8 new albums… ahhhhh bliss!

We include a DVD of your photos from your wedding day and we know, because we have thousands of wedding photos on our computers, that it can be frustrating looking through your photos on the computer and trying to figure out which ones to order, or which ones to send to family. Karli and Mark are getting married!
I think my number one request when first meeting with couples for invitations are pocket folders. I always ask, “do you have enough information to fill the pocket?” For Karli and Mark, they had more than enough information!
They are having a destination wedding in Osoyoos and wanted to make sure that their guests were well prepared. These invitations turned out beautiful, from the colour of the folders, (anthrachite) to the Swarovski crystals I used. It’s important to me to really customize each invitation set for every couple. I do use clear crystals a lot but for this invitation I wanted to match the brown vine design and with the wide colour selection of Swarovski crystals the match was perfect!
When designing invitations I really believe that our only limits are our imaginations! Congratulations Karli and Mark!
