Woohoo!! PANTONE® 15-5519 Turquoise!! I love this colour for invitations. I’ve been designing a lot with a matte colour called Lapis this year. It’s a dark blue, almost black shine paper and it looks beautiful with a pearl shine card on top. Turq accents OMG gorgeous!
Turquoise with Yellow is another combination I love. This colour reminds me of the waters in the Caribbean, especially in Aruba! You just need a daiquiri in your hand!!
And don’t even get me started on the awesome Turquoise jewelery! Check out Stella and Dot. I need to do some shopping!!

On an Olympic stroll through Yaletown this week we found a new store…an AWESOME store! We both love hats Amy loves ball caps and Jen loves the funky hats, this store, Goorin Bros. sells only hats and style is number one on their list.
When planning your wedding don’t forget about the guys! The girls always have it easy we have accessories, we get the flowers, the shoes and the list goes on! Have some fun with our Snapshot Backdrop!

OK, we have been taking photos all day, now it’s time to have some fun! Our “photobooth” is manned by a photographer (Jen or I!), real equipment, real lighting and is guaranteed a real laugh! We only need a small amount of space and we will set up a backdrop and lighting and best of all will bring a bunch of our favourite props, wigs and costume accessories.
We find that people don’t really know what to think at first, but as soon as the first photo is snapped with Uncle Jack wearing a wig, feather boa and bunny ears, it’s game on for the rest of the guests! Call or email us for more information.

Laura and John are getting married!

I recently printed invitations for Laura and John’s June wedding in sunny Vancouver. Laura was much fun to work with and I always love it when brides want to use colour in their invitation design. One of Laura’s favourite things is Alice in Wonderland, we didn’t go crazy on the invitation with the Mad Hatter inviting everyone to the wedding, but used subtle references to the classic novel. The beginning of the invitation reads, You’re invited to a very important date… And my favourite item are the envelope seals that say Open Me!
Jen and I are also photographing Laura and John’s wedding so we are really excited to get creative with them. (Tea party anyone?!!) Congratulations Laura and John!
