Something Blue

I was blog hopping before I head out today for Amanda’s wedding and came across this photo on Weddingbee:

The bride decorated her shoes with blue crystals for her “something blue”! Not only is this a fabulous idea but it’s a great photo!

Jenn + Colin = Engaged! (Sneak Peek)

Amy and I reunited with Jenn and Colin to do their Engagement photos.  We had such a great day with them at Lynn Canyon Park, that we couldn’t wait to show you just one photo from the shoot!  They are definitely naturals in front of the camera!!  Stay tuned for more to come.

Glamour Guest – Marnie

We spotted Marnie at Robina and Don’s Wedding on August 15th, 2009. You all know we are shoe girls and Marnie’s was rocking a sweet pair! Her style was both vintage & chic and we loved her tattoos. We wish you and your fiancé all the best for your upcoming wedding in September!

Where did you get your wedding outfit?
From Miss Sixty, a second hand store in Calgary.

What is your favourite accessory?
A hair flower.

How would you describe your day to day look?

Legends on Main Street and Blame Betty in Calgary.

What was your last fashion purchase?
A red fitted leopard print dress I bought at Blame Betty.

What was your last random purchase?
Cupcakes for my wedding!

What does the word Glamour mean to you?
Looking your best no matter where you are. You have to have the package put together full on. Hair, outfit, shoes, makeup, you never know who you’ll run into!

Jenny + Jerry = Married!

We were so happy to see that the rain held off for Jenny and Jerry’s afternoon wedding in North Vancouver. The ceremony and reception were held at a friends house and the decor style was very vintage glam. As dusk started to fall, the lanterns that were hanging in the trees were lit, these were also the favours that guests took home after the wedding.

We had a fantastic day with Jenny, Jerry and their family and friends. Congratulations!!

Jenny + Jerry = Married (Sneak Peek!)

I scream you scream, even if it’s your wedding day, you can still have ice cream! We are still in love with Jenny and Jerry. We shot their wedding last weekend and thought we should give everyone a bit of a sneak peek of what’s to come, if you know them you won’t be shocked it’s pure amazingness! We had an absolutely fabulous time with both of you, your family and friends. Thank you for all the laughs! Stay tuned for more photos!

Joanie + David = Married!

Joanie and David were married on one of Vancouver’s warmest days this summer! The West Point Grey Community Centre was the backdrop to this romantic wedding filled with family members and friends. After the ceremony the ocean breeze waved up from Jericho Beach, tender and loving looks were exchanged by the newlyweds as we stole them away for some portraits. Here are a few of our favourites.
